General Terms and Conditions

  1. The general terms and conditions apply to all our offers and agreements.
  • Services will only be confirmed to clients who pay them with credit cards on their names.
  • All prices will be set in US dollar
  • All bookings and demands must be confirmed for our personal to be effective.
  • Bookings will only be processed with a minimum of 3 days.
  • The confirmation of bookings will be ineffective if clients do not pay within 24 hours in advance.
  • For every reservations you will receive a “Copy” that isn’t a “Confirmation”.
  • In the total amount we will charge you with the 5.8% for Paypal payment, This amount will appear in the total of your reservations.
  • Your Personal data are encrypted and invisible to Havanatoptravel
  • Hotels
  • Bookings will only be confirmed with a minimum of 3 days.
  • The check in to the hotel will be from 16:00 hours on and the check out at 12:00 hours.
  • In case the client is not pleased with the booked and paid services, we commits to do as much as possible to find another hotel that pleases him without any refund. If the client wants to move to a superior hotel, he must pay the difference in accordance with us
  • Hotels with “all inclusive” accommodation, includes all meals and all drinks.
  • Hotels with “half board” accommodation, includes breakfast and dinner with no drinks.
  • Hotels with “full pension” accommodation, includes breakfast, lunch and dinner with no drinks.
  • Children and discounts for children

If you are travelling with children under the age of 12, you can, subject to specific conditions, make use of discounts for children. These discounts for children depend on the conditions of the relevant travel service provider (airline, hotel) and, if they differ from the standard scheme below, will be mentioned in the relevant offer. In general, you can follow the following rules:

  • If your trip includes a flight, the age of your child on the day of the return trip will be decisive;
  • If your trip does not include a flight, the age of your child at the start of the trip will be decisive.
  • Hotels and Package Tours

The age of the child on the day of arrival is decisive when applying a possible child tariff or discount for children.

  1. Babies up to 23 months old stay in the room of the parent(s) free of charge. Cots can be requested directly to the hotel (for a fee). Some hotels have not cots available, and babies will have to sleep in the same bed as the parent(s).
  2. Child tariffs will be confirmed during the on-line booking process.
  3. Children from 2 to 11 years of age are eligible for a child tariff or child discount if they stay in the same room as the parents (min. 2 parents). In this case, children use the bed capacity of the room or an extra bed. Please note that, in most hotels, it is not possible to place an extra bed in the room.
  4. For children of 12 years of age and older, child tariffs or discounts do not apply.
  • Changes and cancellation

If you wish to change a reservation order or a package tour, we will charge for administration costs per change request, plus any price difference (only if the new price is higher than the price of the original booking). If you want to cancel a reservation order or a package tour, then the existing cancellation costs will apply, unless we then make a different offer in your favor.

After receipt of the new offer (the changed trip), you have the option to accept it or to keep the original reservation order or package tour. This offer is valid for a limited time and must be accepted or rejected within 48 hours after you received the proposal.

CANCELATION POLICY:

 Any cancelation 30 Days before the arrival: NO PENALIZATION

Any cancelation from 29 to 15 Days before the arrival: PENALIZATION 40%

Any cancelation from 14 to 7 Days before the arrival: PENALIZATION 65%

Any cancelation from 6 day before the arrival: NON SHOW. PENALIZATION 100%

  • . Updating and veracity of information on web site.

All the information that appears on this web site has been verified and it is upgraded periodically, however the Agency declares that this information is solely descriptive, the Client occasionally could find outdated information, the Agency is not responsible for any accidental change in the information showed on the web site, or of the use that the Client or visitor of the web site makes with that information.

  •  Price of services.

All the rates in thia web site are in USD (American Dollars) and all payment of services must be done on this currency. All payments of services in Cuba will be done in CUC (Cuban Converible Peso). The Agency will not accept in any case the payment of services with USD in cash.

The Agency is reserved the right of changing the fares published on the web site without previous warning, or to apply taxes, or increase services fares as consequence of the increase of the prices in services that the suppliers could apply, in any moment.

  •  Travel Documents.

The Client will be the responsible for the travel documents demanded in the country, as a valid passport for 6 months, the entrance visa or the tourist’s card. The Agency doesn’t take any responsibility for the consequences and economic losses that the Client can suffer for the lack or loss of these documents.

9-   Major Force

In case of natural and fortuitous events such as earthquakes, hurricanes, floods and other uncontrollable events by us, our Agency it is not responsible to perform the agreed services.

Flights

  • We strongly discourage you from booking a local or regional flight on the same day connected to an international flight. You yourself are responsible for ensuring that these are connecting flights (including the calculation of sufficient transfer time and the risk of delays, etc.)
  • For domestic flights, you can take 20kg of hold luggage and 5kg of hand luggage at no extra cost. Your luggage must comply with the international rules for hold and hand luggage.
  • We can inform you of the rules and costs for hand and hold luggage of other airlines.
  • Flights must always be reconfirmed on working days and at least 24 hours prior to departure.
  • Always make sure that you can be reached us so that we can inform you of any changes to your flight wherever possible.

Hotels

  • Prices of hotels are set out based on the number of people in a room.
  • The check-in time is usually from 16:00 on the day of arrival, the latest check-out having to occur before 12:00 on the day of departure.
  • The applicant must be present at check-in.
  • All travellers must be able to present a valid passport at check-in.
  • A standard room consists of 2 separate beds. As a general rule, guests must use the bed capacity as is normally present in the room. Most hotels do not have the possibility to place an extra bed in the room.
